Post Graduate Diploma / Graduate Certificate: One to two-year study after bachelor studies.
Masters /Post Graduate degrees qualification: A pre-requisite to participate in graduate studies is an undergraduate / bachelor’s degree (4 years). It comprises of minimum two years of full-time studies based on either course work or thesis.
Doctoral / Ph D qualification: A minimum of 2 to 5-year full time study under supervision that involves research.

These institutes have the primary function of responding to the training needs of industry, business and public service sectors.
Most of these institutes offer diplomas and certificates rather than degrees.
